Overview: We're launching a computer vision + AI pilot for a retail brand operating 400+ stores. Your role will be to help us with in-store cameras and AI models to track inventory, shelf presence, and customer behavior - starting with just 2–3 stores. This is an early-stage, high-impact project with future potential for scale. Start Date: Immediate.

Responsibilities: • Set up and configure edge devices (e.g., Jetson Nano or Raspberry Pi or something similar) and USB cameras • Build and deploy lightweight computer vision models (e.g., YOLOv8, OpenCV) • Develop basic image/data pipelines (local + cloud sync) • Create simple dashboards or visualizations to display store insights • Work independently and iterate fast with feedback from a non-technical client coordinator (me!) ** Must-Have Skills:** • Strong Python skills • Experience with CV frameworks (YOLO, OpenCV, TensorFlow or PyTorch) • Edge computing basics (Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, or Coral) • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Firebase) • Ability to prototype quickly and work autonomously

Nice-to-Haves: • Streamlit or dashboarding experience • Knowledge of retail / inventory use cases • Previous work on IoT or edge AI projects
