The Role:

We're seeking a dynamic professional to lead our E-commerce business and manage end-to-end business / P&L on major marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Zepto, Instamart, etc. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with the founders and take accountability / ownership to drive P&L. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, data driven mindset and hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities:

A. Marketplace Management:

  • Create and manage product listings on multiple marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and q-commerce platforms.
  • Lead and monitor day-to-day operations of the e-commerce business, including cataloging, promotions, inventory management, warehouse operations, pricing, order fulfillment cycle and returns.
  • Mitigate issues like out-of-stock, overselling, or delayed deliveries by maintaining an optimal stock-to-sales ratio.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, logistics, and IT, to ensure smooth e-commerce processes.
  • Managing relationships with category managers, third-party vendors, including payment gateways, logistics partners, etc.

B. Drive P&L:

  • Complete ownership of the Profit & Loss for e-commerce business across marketplaces, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and optimize operational costs, discounts, promotions, and commissions on a day-to-day basis to maintain healthy margins.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and budgeting for the channel, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

C. Drive Sales & Marketing Campaigns:

  • Devise marketing campaigns, drive performance marketing and SEO by achieving best ROAS across campaigns activations and impression drive for all major platforms and drive traffic / sales.
  • Optimize ad spend and run performance-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze customer reviews, feedback, and trends to develop actionable insights for improving sales and customer experience.

D. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze data related to product performance, campaign effectiveness, ROI on ads, sales trends, and catalog effectiveness to drive overall performance.
  • Generate comprehensive reports using advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) to identify insights and areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs)such as traffic, conversion rates, net revenue, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in managing e-commerce operations, preferably for a D2C website and marketplaces.
  • Have relevant skills and strong interest in e-commerce and digital marketing.
  • Digital Marketing, problem solving, advanced excel, effective communication and data analysis.
  • Any bachelors degree, MBA is a plus.
