Overview: We are looking for an experienced MS SQL Database Administrator with hands-on AWS migration skills to manage and maintain our database environments.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage MS SQL Databases.
• Perform hands-on AWS Database Migration.
• Manage MS SQL RDS system and environment, including Backup/Restore operations.
• Create and tune SQL Parameter configurations.
• Allocate system storage and plan future storage requirements.
• Manage MS SQL database systems within AWS.
• Troubleshoot database issues.
• Work on indexing, replicating, and performing disaster recovery services across multiple AWS regions.
• Create or modify database objects and/or write SQL code in support of application needs.
• Sync data across data sources or platforms.
• Potentially write Powershell Scripts for SQL DBA tasks and business logics.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of total and relevant experience.
• Mandatory skills as listed: Creation of MS SQL Database, Hands On of AWS Database Migration, Backup/Restore and able to manage the MS SQL RDS system and environment, Able to create SQL Parameter configuration and tuning, Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements, MS SQL database system in AWS, Issue Troubleshooting, Work on indexing, replicating and performing disaster recovery services across multiple AWS regions, Create or modify database objects and/or write SQL code in support of application, Syncing data across data sources or platforms.
• Good knowledge on ticketing tools and change management system.
• Readiness to work in 24 x 7 rotational shifts.
• Good to have skills: MS SQL DBA with AWS Migration skillset.
