Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MECM Endpoint Engineer III to design, maintain, and monitor our endpoint environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MECM, application packaging, Intune, and scripting, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and monitor a strategic service delivery roadmap for the endpoint space.
- Develop and enforce engineering standards and models.
- Provide coaching to team members.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot operating system images and task sequences in MECM.
- Package and execute application deployments using MECM and industry-standard tools.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on desktop/laptop related issues.
- Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell and VBScript.
- Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy.
- Recommend and implement improvements to desktop architecture and design.
- Partner with multiple technical teams to develop and support endpoint solutions.
- Investigate alternative methods to expedite problem resolution.
- Triage and troubleshoot escalated issues.
- Participate in the identification of vulnerabilities and mitigation plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the IT field, with 5+ years in Infrastructure endpoint engineering.
- Solid track record of solution development.
- Experience with Windows 10 Enterprise Operating system features, settings, and installation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune, Autopilot.
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Ability to write scripts in PowerShell and VBScript.
- Familiarity with Defender, Bitlocker, etc.
- Understanding of BIOS functions and configurations.
- Knowledge of wire and wireless networking technologies.
- Experience in virtualization technology (Citrix, VMware) and thin/zero clients.
