This role requires deep and broad experience in leading the Service Design & Transition process and producing associated artifacts across various technology areas and project methodologies.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Lead Service Design & Transition processes and produce associated artifacts.
- Apply practical understanding of ITIL in a maturing environment.
- Apply project quality and risk management concepts.
- Gain experience with RFPs and supplier selection processes, including defining service requirements and SLAs.
- Understand how Service Design & Transition is affected by different Project and Service Methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, ITIL).
- Possess strong understanding of project lifecycle and governance and map Service Design & Transition activities against it.
- Manage conflict and negotiate successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal customers.
- Experience working in an organization undergoing significant technology or process transformation.
- Experience creating and documenting new operational processes.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and deliver high-quality written and verbal output.
- Ability to collate and summarise data sources for senior leadership decision-making, including risk articulation.
- Work independently and quickly understand complex, fast-moving programmes.
- Use initiative to adapt approach to project needs.
- Exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills, including constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience delivering Service Design Packages across multiple delivery teams and 3rd parties.
- Experience working with system integrators and managed services.
- Maintain pragmatism and a flexible approach to problem solving.
