Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team to manage pricing & propositions for a very successful & growing challenger brand, operating in the UK telecoms space. Key responsibilities include developing & rolling out GTM strategy for product launches & updating pricing & propositions catalogue, collecting, analysing and interpreting internal & external data to generate useful insights and help improve customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the new product launch process by implementing a robust end-to-end go-to market (GTM) strategy, ensuring the product is well-promoted and accessible across various platforms, including web, app, CRM, and retail stores.
- Responsible for timely updating all pricing and product revisions across all marketing collateral and digital platforms as part of the GTM strategy.
- Manage systems, tools, and both existing and new models and processes to develop and deliver pricing analyses that support business pricing strategies.
- Take ownership of the creation and improvement of pricing processes and tools, maintaining and developing those that empower the marketing team to assess current product positioning and optimize growth and margins.
- Collaborate with pricing partners to ensure the accurate flow of pricing information, fostering long-lasting relationships.
- Develop reports to monitor and evaluate internal and competitive pricing and margin performance at various levels, including market, customer, and product levels, which will assist in weekly and monthly forecasting.
- Play a proactive role in identifying new market opportunities and potential risks stemming from competitive, regulatory, and other internal and external factors.
- Analyse the impact of pricing changes on financial and sales performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers with inquiries about pricing, as well as the data used to generate proposed pricing, discounts, and terms and conditions.
- Work closely with the revenue assurance team to prevent any leakages or fraud resulting from incorrect pricing, ensuring the maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the annual audit.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access
- Proven analytical skills
- Able to work on time-sensitive price changes with high precision ensuring deadlines are met
- Attention to detail and ability to remain motivated whilst doing repetitive tasks
- Basic skills for extracting data for all analysis using SQL
- Knowledge of visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau will be an added advantage
